My summer break (I go to a year-round college) is almost over. If I'm ever going to draw all the stuff I still need to draw (is this the fourth month where I was like "I'm gonna get into art trades again! Jeez) I need to find some time to veg out on the couch, pop in a movie (I draw AND write better with the TV on, no idea why that works, but), and get to work. I'm supposed to go to this thing at school this morning--no idea what it is, but evidently Chef wants me there so I think that's a compliment--but maybe after that. 'Cause I'd better do it now before school starts again and kills me.

I need to finish my new character profiles, too. I got all five principal Circle characters done, then moved on to Mint, figuring he'd be easy, since he hardly has any of the complexes that the Circle cast do. On the other hand, I forgot just how many pictures there are of him.

I also need a new 01 pen. Mine died and the 02 is just too thick for my preliminary lines. I go over all the lines once and then I thicken them, sort of a habit left over from when I always used the lightbox. Nowadays I use marker paper which I can trace WITHOUT bright fluorescent light in my face, so I really could do it however, but eh, habits.
